The Multi Chip Epistar light sources are mounted within the aluminium extrusion around the edge of the luminaire, giving excellent uniformity of light across the panel, coupled with the efficient external driver giving an expected lifetime of more than 50,000 hours, ensuring the solution is virtually maintenance free. The panel design and flexibility makes it ideal for offices, retail, hotels, commercial, NHS trusts and educational establishments. These luminaires are available with dimmable options, they can also be used in conjunction with external lighting controls to further reduce the energy consumption, allowing excellent versatility for almost any application. The full range is available with a pre fitted emergency backup option (suffix EM3) or an integrated self-testing emergency backup option (suffix EM3ST) allowing the luminaires to be incorporated into an emergency lighting installation complying with BS5266-1:2005 |
